Hair discrimination

The amount of abuse I see gingers get at school was bad, this was not banter but more borderline bullying. The amount of discrimination was worse than anything I've seen yet it seemed to be part of the culture passed down through the generations. Maybe the deep-seated hatred towards Celts never left.

Also bald people got a hell of a lot of stick from their mates, work colleagues or random nights out. You see that a lot with Linos and refs being called bald cunts etc.

UK is odd as it gets on their high horse at anyone racist, homophobic etc but can discrimate against gingers, baldies and fat people at the drop of a hat.
People with red/ginger hair suffer awful racism. I could not have written it better myself and I haven't got either.

I remember my youngest son {who has red hair from my Mother's side) coming home from junior school half crying asking me "will my hair change colour one day Dad" ? I could've cried with him the bullying was terrible.

I talked to him for ages about it and the main thing I said to him was, if someone makes fun of your hair just laugh along with them, they'll soon get tired of going on about it...He seemed to handle it well after that.
But yeah the bullying was terrible, kids shouldn't have to come home from school crying.

Later at high school he grew to 6 foot and played Rugby maybe that stopped the bullying but I feel for any small slightly build redheads.

Racism is racism. It's the colour of something that you can't change.

But you could change the hair colour...but baseline definition, Racism is based on Race.

A ginger is not a member of a particular race, so it's not Racism
