So in your school they have suspended or sent home kids with non-afro hair for having long hair or pony tails?

I was sent home for having long hair, then told tying it in a pony tail didn't change things, and would be suspended if I didn't have it cut.
Girls however were fine with the same. Not discrimination apparently.

The amount of abuse I see gingers get at school was bad, this was not banter but more borderline bullying. The amount of discrimination was worse than anything I've seen yet it seemed to be part of the culture passed down through the generations. Maybe the deep-seated hatred towards Celts never left.

Also bald people got a hell of a lot of stick from their mates, work colleagues or random nights out. You see that a lot with Linos and refs being called bald cunts etc.

UK is odd as it gets on their high horse at anyone racist, homophobic etc but can discrimate against gingers, baldies and fat people at the drop of a hat.

No it's not. It's someone coming up with a lame excuse to dismiss the whole issue because he doesn't want to engage with the fact that he might be wrong. Do you really think this sort of thing doesn't also go in in the UK?
