Half of the world on track to be overweight by 2035

I'm bucking the trend, since moving home at the end of May I'd not tried my suit on but, going to a 90th bash tonight I gave it a go.

Had to go and buy a new one, gone from 44/36 to 40/32....I looked like a kid in his dads clothes.

Activity is the key, I walk dependant on the time of year between 3/8 miles per day and only use the car if shopping or travelling 90 mins to City.

I'm very healthy according to that.

Cycling was the answer for me (and retirement).. up to nearly 18 stone at one point when I sat at my laptop all day, I’m now around 14 stone and feel much better

32 mile circuit most weekdays and that two hours on the bike means I’m stress free and off my phone..

I’d recommend it to anybody
I became office / computer based in 2019 and can honestly say it's been the most unhealthy few years of my life to date, both in terms of exercise and illness.

As I've pointed out before in this thread, load of fucking shite. Completely ignores build, fat/muscle/skeletal mass ratios (the latter two being denser and therefore heavier) etc. You can be 5'10 and 13 stone and underweight or 6'1 and 12 stone while being overweight. Height is a minor factor in regards to weight.

I enjoyed the job but it did me no favours in terms of my weight.. I stopped at 56 mainly because of my wife’s health but I’m so glad I did.. we’ll never be millionaires unless the lotto numbers come up but we’re comfortable
