Half of the world on track to be overweight by 2035

As I've pointed out before in this thread, load of fucking shite. Completely ignores build, fat/muscle/skeletal mass ratios (the latter two being denser and therefore heavier) etc. You can be 5'10 and 13 stone and underweight or 6'1 and 12 stone while being overweight. Height is a minor factor in regards to weight.
Alright grumpy, lol

It's not really a load of fucking shite it's meant as a guide for the average person, not really intended for muscle monkeys or athletes.
I'm 24.
I could lose a kilo but I'm ok.
178cm 75kg

True, but the younger generation also think food comes on a moped from deliveroo which I think could be their downfall
This is part of the problem. A lot of people I know have take away two or three nights a week.
Might be alright to do for a short period of time or when you are young and have muscle mass, but as you get older, regardless of what you do, that muscle starts to become less lean and doesn't burn anywhere near as many calories.

I used the bmi calculator five weeks ago , it said i needed to lose 8 pounds so i lost 14 and it still says lose 8 pounds , nuts

Stop fucking eating shite ya fat fucks...
When it's half the world's population, and given that includes a lot of places with huge poverty, then it's the system that's wrong not the people.

There's no way that the majority of people just don't care about being overweight.

I was diagnosed with diabetes a few weeks ago. Had to go and see the specialist the other day. She explained how BMI was a poor gauge and for diabetes purposes they use the ratio between waist size and height. They look to have waist size around half of your height.
I was 95cm around the waist and 188cm tall, so pretty much spot on (My diabetes is due to Crohns damaging the pancreas).

When i saw the nurse a couple of weeks ago she measured my waist and weighed me but not my height so they seem to be using a different calculation now

One of my first diabetic check ups I went for a couple of years ago the nurse did all the height, waist, weight, eyesight, BP, blood tests, reflexes etc etc...all good(ish) then, seriously, asked me how my erections were....." Normally, you should be buying me drink before you ask me that " I said....Oh how we laughed.
