Hansen, Lawrensen and Shearer bring shame on the BBC

My compliant below:

Complaint title:Standard of punditry
Complaint description:
The incessant cliched nature of the "expert" opinions of Messrs Hansen and Lawrenson are an embarrasment to the BBC. Their ridiculing of Mario Balotelli was ludicrous and the lack of any real insightful punditry is in stark contrast to the likes of Gary Neville who gives focussed and (surprisingly) unbiased technical analysis over on Sky. The BBC need to get rid of this dead wood and bring Match of the Day into the 21st century. I find the fees paid to Hansen of £2m a year to be an obscene waste of my money.

For the first time in my life, last night I knowingly chose ITVs coverage and Clive Tyldesley's commentary above the BBC, for the simple reason that whilst I loathe Tyldesley with a passion, I would sooned have that rag simpleton inflicted on me than listen to Mark Lawrenson droning on with his "funny" asides, much less listen to Alan Hansen's bile.

I don't give a shit whether the BBC change or not. If there is no alternative, there is no alternative and we are stuck with Hansen and Shearer and Lawrenson. If there is an alternative, whatever it is, I will take it.

I stopped watching that bilge called match of the day a very long time ago, if everyone else did then something would get done

This is it though see, people can complain all they want but come the start of the season the majority of the football-loving community will tune into MOTD.

More than likely because it is the only PL highlights package free to air

Precisely, but even those with Sky/Virgin will, I know I will despite having watched Football First as well.

I don't have Sky HD but I get free to air BBC HD
Why should I accept a poorer picture just because the 'so called' experts are useless cunts. Surely it's up to the service provider to deliver the quality the customer wants, especially with some one like the BBC where I have no option of withdrawing my financial backing

Whilst the points raised are bang on the money, do you really think the Beeb will get rid of someone with the profile Hansen has because of some complaints of the fans of one club? It's like pissing in the wind, (i've complained myself by the way, last season).
