None of them get more assists.The sad thing about Dave is that he will never get the full credit he deserves, by football fans in general, because of his end product.
People see him as an attacking midfielder similar to Mata, Ozil, De Brunye and Coutinho etc. All of whom will either score more goals or get more assists than Dave. I mean the assist figures KDB and Ozil get are outstanding.
However, none of those players can hold a candle to Dave when it comes to running a game. All of the players mentioned above can have moments of individual brilliance and turn a game on its head in a single moment. Yet they are also capable of going missing for long spells of games as well. That doesn't happen with Dave. When the going gets tough he is always there and I have never seen a player so comfortable in possession as Silva.
In an era of MOTD highlights it's no surprise that Silva is often overlooked for awards. Yet if you go to the Etihad on a matchday and asked every single fan to name their top 3 City players of all time, I'd be astounded if any of them didn't include Silva, Jack74 aside. That's the true barometer of greatness, not a media influenced award.

I've never seen a player run a game like merlin. In Europe iniesta no one in the prem now or in last 20 years is close to himNone of them get more assists.

Condering that De Bruye has got a lot more than Dave this season and Ozil was the assist leader last season, then they obviously do.
Coutinho and Mata both seem to score a lot more than Dave as well.

I don't care about the stats, the no of assists or no of goals vs whoever. He is our artist, our Merlin, I absolutely love him.
