Oh mum I miss you, but what we saw together eh.... From our first game together in 85, to Wembley 99, to Agueroooooooooooooooo.... And you clung on for champions of europe.
And there you are, immortalised in shot!I

But away from a sad post, what a day that was eh, bloody amazing, from despair to ecstasy, was it real you bet it was!!!! And 13 years ago bloody hell. I feel old!

watching the goal back still makes me cry.

Yes it was and always will be.

Before the match I said "lovely sunny day to win the league."
Half-time, "Zabaleta's won it, QPR could play till tonight and not score."
Start of the second half "hope they don't miss Yaya now."
On 90 minutes, head in hands "all this way, all that money."
At Edin Dzeko "Kevin Horlock!"
93:20 just a bloody scream.

Seen the video so many times that this frozen in time photo gives a bit of a different view. The title could be "Look at his face, just look at his face!" if it hadn't been done already. There's the pain the QPR players are starting to show as they grasp what's happening (and what an ugly bugger the one on the left is.) Sergio a split second away from breaking into some of the greatest joy a footballer has felt. Then there's the people in the crowd still tense and watching, no one yet in raptures.

(Is it your mum there in the front row, by the way?)

no mum is just in shot, the top right corner, mouth open in her purple coat and old old scarf. I had a good cry a few months ago when I finally found a few pictures with us both on (not the clearest views of us but I was ecstatic all these years on to find some, we're normally just cropped off!).
Frozen in time.
(Tho I'm not on the one I posted here! I can't find them on this tablet)
Edit to say here's one of the celebrating!

Nobody in football has ever ridden a roller coaster like we did that day. Some have come close, but they will never truly know the emotions and soul searching that went on in those minutes.
It was a dream turning to a nightmare turning to a magical moment.
This moment will never be surpassed in any sporting arena.

I sat in the QPR end for this game. Left the ground on 90 minutes to meet my mates outside the Family Stand, thinking that was done.

Jogging round I heard the crowd when it went 2-2, and tried getting back in. Steward wouldn’t let us in, but clicked the button as we started climbing up the gate.

Got in and legged it round to block 136 where I went onto the steps and saw Aguero score….. mental!

Still, to this day, the best non-family moment of my life.

I wasn't there for the Gundogan goal due to other family circumstances (typical!) so I can't compare. But I just don't see how the Aguero goal will ever be topped given its importance and context.

Martin Tyler gets all the commentary credit but Peter Drury's is one of the best from that day too...'where does football go from here?!'

Has anybody got a link to the video City uploaded a few years later of the goal from all different angles/cameras in the ground but it was just crowd noise - no commentary?

It was titled something like 'This is how it feels' but I can never find it!

Is it this one?

I remember thinking, Oh great another fucking corner that will go nowhere! Then Edin finally scored and the rest is histry

I dont think I have ever been so low, I didnt even celebrate when we Equalized, just sat slumped in my seat in the Colin Bell stand wondering why they put us through this shit & how we were ever going to get over letting the rags win the title..........Then pure Ecstacy when Sergio smacked in the winner, all those years and years of hurt were all worth it, I have never felt a feeling like it & probably never will again.
