Happy Birthday Dennis Tueart !

Him and Peter Barnes were my childhood hero's, when ever they got the ball you all thought something could happen.

Childhood Hero . Fantastic memories of him as a wide eyed 7 year old in the mid 70's.

Signed Shirt has pride of place in my House also (Thanks Bluebird) ..

Happy Birthday Dennis .

Happy Birthday Dennis, still have a pic of me and, you and the league cup :)
A truly great player for us who unfortunately became a mainstay of the infamous
fifth column, they didn't call you the kingmaker for nothing eh ;), So
glad to have great memories of you as a player and so glad that you are no
longer involved with our club on a board level.

a great footballing hero whilst playing, but like franny lee, appeared to be up his own arse somewhat, seemed a self important fucker.

i`ve only seen both a couple of times and not directly in there company, but thats the impression i got.

Dennis was a fantastic player for City, and is a true blue legend. my faverouite memory of him is standing on the Kippax and watching him score 4 against (if memory serves) Notts County in the cup.
Happy birthday Dennis!

My memory is a bit cloudy as well, but I think it was at Meadow lane.
Seem to remember he played with a cast on his arm that night and had a 5th goal disallowed for doing a "cast of God"

Always remember it because I think we were bottom of Div1 and Notts Count were top of Div 2 ( which the media made a big song and dance about).
