As odd as making 24 March Bluemoon Hilts Day.At least they believe in something I suppose, what an odd thing to celebrate.
Stephen Fry has also given belting talks (and participated in debates) on the subject.Ye, agreed. Read a few, Christopher hitchens did a good one as well.
I can say that the residents of the state in which I now reside have been worshiping the great Lobster in the sea for centuries.
Almost as bad as the professional Christians.I don't believe in god but to me there is nothing more annoying than a professional atheist, nobody cares mate. Some of the most smug people you will ever meet
No need to bring our lord and saviour Julian Alvarez in to the debate. All these Atheists clearly never watched Kinkladze playView attachment 111386
Dawkins is an exceptional writer. The Greatest Show on Earth is essential reading for everyone.
I used to be an atheist, and read his work when I was. As I've gotten older I've leaned more towards agnosticism; primarily because we don't have definitive answers, and we never will have definitive answers. I think the issue is people conflate spiritual belief with religious fanaticism. But you can believe in omnipotent power and not regiment your life slavishly to scripture and church attendance.
No more odd than celebrating Christmas. At least they believe in something I suppose, what an odd thing to celebrate.
