Happy International Left Handers Day

Can be awkward when closely seated at a dining table. My left elbow clashing with my neighbours right elbow, particularly when just using a fork for a Chinese say. As I'm the one causing the problem, I take control of the alternating (or sit at the head of the table).

I'm left handed when writing. When doing a two handed task,though (digging with a spade or shovel, or when I used to play cricket),I did these right handed (right hand lower on the handle than the left).

My late father was a total left-hander all his life. Before his passing he developed severe dementia and towards the end was unable to speak and communicated by writing little notes. Suddenly he was writing with his right hand, and far from being a scratchy type scrawl, it was perfectly normal and legible. Strange.
