Was watching an episode of Pawn Stars where a Hendrix guitar was for sale.Ha. I’m usually clueless when it comes lyrics. As Jimmy Hendrix once said, “scuze me, while I kiss this guy”.
Seemingly Hendrix was left handed and played a right handed guitar with the strings reversed.
More knowledgeable people on the subject could elaborate

Just checked back on the programme and none the wiser. This is what they said.He played a left handed guitar I believe.
He played guitar left handed; right hand frets, left hand strums. His signature guitar was a right handed Stratocaster that was strung and set up for a left handed player so it was upside down when he played it.

Interesting, I never knew that’s what it was called. I’m similar, generally one handed it’s left, two handed it’s right.I’m what they call cross dominant I think, write with my left hand, eat with my right. Basically if I need strength for something I tend use my right and accuracy I tend to use my left.

He played a left handed guitar I believe.
He is right, JH used right-handed fender stratocaster guitar but restrung and played upside down.
His abusive father would beat him for using his left hand.

I am left handed, if writing 100% left hand. As with drinking a beer. But give me a hammer, a drill or a table tennis bat and it is right hand.I’m what they call cross dominant I think, write with my left hand, eat with my right. Darts is left handed. As is 10 pin bowling.
Cricket and rounders could be both. I would stand there as if right handed so the fielders would be in that position to field and as the person bowled / pitched I would swap hands and hit the ball into an empty space

I’m left handed, right footed, bat right handed, bowl left handed, southpaw at boxing. Tend to drink with my right hand, (very occasionally) smoke with my left hand and wank with my right hand.
