My Daughter is dancing in the parade later. Load of shite and in the rain as usual. I’ve been here 20 plus years, the tractors in the parade a lot longer.

Shall be taking my son to his first parade today. At one month old, he won't see or remember a thing. Good job too as its only ever St Patrick on a bike, fire engines, and the local dog barking into a microphone whilst riding in a bicycle basket.

THe goodwife Mrs Joe is a stone cold bog trotter, born and raised in Roscommon. We will be raising a glass sometine today. She's claiming Peter O'Toole as her fav irish actor...i thought he was from Leeds, she can have Chris O'Dowd or Maureen O'Sullivan as both from her town.
Biggest achievement is pretending that Porter was invented in Dublin.

PS Fav Irish author Flann O'Brien..
