Love Star Trek. SW is just shite in comparison for me. Simple repetitive inane plots, cardboard characters. It's ok but ST inspires scientists, SW inspires toy collections. Can't wait for the new Picard show.

Watched it on and off as a kid but could never really call myself a Trekie. Got to admit that Gene Roddenberry was certainly a visionary as regards the technology many of which have real world equivalents now but were impossible back in the day (however I don’t think we will ever see teleportation).
Let’s be honest though you can like or dislike Star Trek, but the multitalented William Shatner....that man is a god.

Seen this so many times. One of the best things on the internet.
