happy with a draw tonight

Right, If you were happy with a draw then that just sums us up! That was ours for the taking and yet I watched the most gutless no mark display by any City side in years.

Mancini wants sacking for the way we played tonight. This was our chance to rip United to shreds at home and we played like we were a struggling side away from home desperate for a point.

BE ASHAMED MANICNI, BE VERY ASHAMED!

Thats such a ridiculous thing to say, Utd are a top team whether people can admit it or not but the problam with this match is that the hatred for Utd is so much that everyone always says how poor they are and how they are finished etc and people say it so much that they start to believe it meaning that this result was poor.
Now City were the home side so maybe the performence was poor for a team wanting to challenge but a point against Utd is not poor in anyway, home or away.

Ridiculous, just ridiculous.

Take these two quotes: "That was ours for the taking"; "This was our chance to rip United to shreds at home".

Ok?

Then take these two things: Rags' results against us last season; Rags' current league position and defeats.

Now take a long hard look at your footballing logic.

I can't believe you are defending how we played tonight. It was absolutely tepid. We had 1 fucking shot on target! How are we meant to win anything by playing like we did against a mediocre United side.

The performance would have been good enough for our side 3 or 4 years ago but not tonight. It was a disgrace. Zero ambition, zero creativity and zero chance of winning anything.

Anyone who wouldn't have taken 7 points from West Brom away, Utd home and Brum home on the back of 3 straight defeats needs their head read.

We just need to finish the job now.

Points are more important than performances.

Oh, lovely post. Just a couple of points:
- "mediocre United side" - oh gosh yes extremely mediocre, second last season, unbeaten this season, same core of players....Please please please stop letting your bias (and yes, I'm biased too, but I try and be a little bit objective) blind you to the fact that their first team is still EXTREMELY strong. Defence in particular, and midfield to some extent.
- "A disgrace" - dear fucking god, I'm surprised you haven't topped yourself yet if you thought THAT was poor, being a City fan!

What job? Scrapping into the top 4?! It just isn't good enough. The way we play just isn't good enough. People seem to forget that games against the "big four" have all been at home this season.

How do we setup when we play away? I can't see it being any more negative than when we play at home. Let's just get a point because that will get us somewhere in the long run.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Take a look at our position in the table and chill the f*ck out

Tough game, United stuck to there plan well and we kept our discipline. We can go on a run now for a few games and if we do this will look like a good result.
