its 3 quid from stockport so can't see it being more than a fiver from town. its only a 40 minute train aswell, although i think you can direct from piccadilly which would probably be 20-25 mins.

you sure, its a tenner to mcr from northwich,
and mcr to stoke is twice the distance.

Train prices don't work on distance.

Cheaper to go to London if you book right than it is to go to Liverpool.
