Never really heard him talk before to be honest,never really cared to be honest,but yea he is like any other sportsman that has had bad injuries during their career,battled back,and now only time will tell.
But the interviewer said to him it must be like winning the lottery,as if they need any money,honest to god !
A touch of the old Greg Rusedski's about him as well,I know he was born in Canada,but English ???? Really ???

Thought he seemed quite level headed. But yeah it wasn't that instant connection like in Nasri's.

He comes across as an arrogant and conceited prick. Possibly due to 4 years of frustration and being pissed off at being dumped by the shite. His answer to why he wanted to join City was that it was convenient because he had a house here. Not really the most thought through answer.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt though, must have been horrendous not being able to play during his peak years. He'll do a good job for us if he can stay injury free, great player when he's fit.

Weird, I got a totally different vibe; he didn't seem full of it to me, he seemed quiet and had a haunted look on his face. Not surprising, I guess. Good luck to him this season, hope we handle him better than the rags.

He's hardly likely to be full of the joys of spring, is he?
The guy's had a shocking last few years, knows one more breakdown and he is likely to be hanging up his boots, so as such he is taking it day by day.
If he can get a couple of games under his belt and get up to match sharpness then he will prove to be a very astute piece of business imo.

He looked like a guy who doesn't like being interviewed. He's probably sick of talking about his injuries.
Let's face it-- he was looking for a club and never really hoped to play for City in particular. Probably just wants to play football no matter where he plays it.
