Harley Davidson riders

Done sports bikes and had a ton of other bikes mostly big BMWs I did fancy a Harley at one point after a trip to Florida then bought a BMW R1200C like Pearce Brosnan had in the Bond film... rarer than a Harley but I've now gone retro this time and bought this.. based on a Honda CB650z from 1979.. and shows what £12,000 can do in the right hands...That's what the guy who built it invested before he decided the fun was in the build and sold it to me...

Retro is the current mod style! loads of really good 60's wannabe bikes around at the moment. Shame the weather is so shite in this country....

My favourite bike.

I bought one of those new in 1977. I don't remember how much it cost, it's too long ago now, but it was one fun machine.

It was Blue, well the tank and side panels were, but you could ride it like a man possessed and it just stuck to the road like glue.

When I bought it there were nylon Bridgestone tyres on it which were soon replaced by TT 100's, and I'm still here today, which might not have been the case if I'd stuck with the original tyres.

It's the bike I remember with the fondest memories.

Never really been a fan of bikes, but both my mum and uncle loved them. He had a Vincent Black Shadow when he was younger and would always go on about how much it would be worth now if he hadn't sold it.

Probably going to buy one again and spend a little time and lots of cash upgrading certain parts. Like the brakes!
