Harry Kane

He's old school. I'm not sure he'd fit the way we play. As we've seen with Aguero you really need to have a good touch if Pep's going to like you. I rate Kane highly though nonetheless.

I fully expect United to ditch Lukaku for this guy within the next 3 years.

One thing I noticed with Kane was that his shooting is so accurate (from open play). He nearly always puts his shot on goal. Sergio used to be the same but his shooting has gone to shit.

Said it before he is one of the luckiest players around, he never looks in control of the ball, BUT he knows how to score and his attacking positional play is fabulous. Not right for us though

I remember when Gullit took over at Newcastle and didn't rate Shearer. Kane, like Shearer to some extent, doesn't seem to do anything especially well but he bloody knows where the goal is. He doesn't seem to have great pace, dribbling skills or technique but his record is superb so far.

Agree, think he's the closest striker since Shearer

And well done to him saying this :

“I don’t think anyone who says that understands what it takes,” he said. “It’s probably why they’re sitting at home watching and we’re out there playing. I’m extremely proud to represent my country and I know the other players are.

“It takes a lot of commitment to reach the top. You need to start from a young age, show dedication and you have to be a top professional to play for your country.

How often do Spurs play against 6/7 men defensive teams. He has a great strike rate at Spurs but just look at the treatment Walker got on his debut compared to 200 games he played else where.
