Harry Kane

Knock that shit off. Nobody is doing anything of the sort. YOU are the only one inferring or thinking that as far as I can see. I've been here for a good few years and I don't recall anyone being anti-Semitic when discussing Levy or Spurs. I'm pretty sure I'd remember.

Not that it is any of your concern, but my wife and daughters are Jewish so I am aware there is real anti-Semitism. There's also bullshit in disguise which is what you are pedalling.

I asked a question. A perfectly reasonable one, given what had been posted.

It did seem a bit strange to me that MOTD didn't show what happened. Even if it's an accidental collision, if it injures Kane for several weeks it's a major event.
I've not seen any footage of it either.
They didn’t?
Wow.
England’s latest golden boy and nothing is shown of it?
I thought it seemed a bit strange at the time (bbc website match report and injury report), and now even more so, having looked for vid/pics.

Anyone see it on tv?

Buried as united can’t be seen to crock golden boy?

Your question was more a baseless accusation and you well know it. That's why you are doubling down. When people do what you were doing it cheapens the meaning of real anti-semitism/racism, sexism, etc.

Levy has a reputation of being a tough negotiator. The fact that he's Jewish has nothing to do with it.

Good day.

Also, you can find reports of workers drunk on site, coke being used, joints a go-go. It's no wonder the thing is behind schedule and mistakes are being made. If Levi is the all seeing eye, he and his advisers have taken it off the project. And yes, he's renowned for being tight, he also happens to be Jewish. If he was Scottish/Yorkshire/Jamaican would you also infer that I perhaps may be cultural stereotyping?

That article is risibly poor. Riddled with mistakes. It genuinely appears to have been written by someone who has no or minimal knowledge of the construction industry. In addition, it contains not one attributable quote. It was widely ridiculed by industry insiders when first published. It does contain some truth. There was definitely an issue with too many crafts and workers on site, getting in each other's way. And a number of subcontractors did employ agency staff who weren't qualified to do their respective jobs. As to the sensationalist tabloid claims of drug taking or drinking, you will find that kind of behaviour on any big construction project if you look hard enough and want a juicy story.

But the main premise of the article is that the reason for the problems is that Spurs took personal control over the project and that Mace had comparatively little responsibility. Furthermore, the implication is that the arrangement between them was in some way unusual. This is mere ignorant nonsense. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Spurs and Mace actually entered into a Construction Management contract - a very common and indeed recommended solution for big construction projects that are highly complex, that require specialist work and that require design flexibility. It doesn't mean that Spurs were micromanaging the project. Although, in theory, the subcontractors were answerable to Spurs, in practice any interaction with and supervision of all the subcontractors was Mace's responsibility.

So once again, whatever else Levy might have done, trying to get the stadium built on the cheap is not one of them. When it is finally finished (yes, I know.....!), it will be by far the best appointed stadium in the country. The level of finish in the general access areas will be better than in some corporate areas at other stadiums.

Tough negotiator, yes. Absolutely not the same as 'trying to get away with' doing things on the cheap. And well you know it. And no, my question was not a baseless accusation. It was a question, based specifically on what had been written. Good day.

plastered all over sly sports "how will Spurs cope? analysis from every angle. never had owt like this when we lost Serge or KDB. London biased ****s.

I seem to remember plenty of coverage when KDB was injured. Nevertheless, it's surely obvious why there is more of a fuss about Kane. Man City simply have a far deeper squad than Spurs and are better positioned to cope. Furthermore, the Kane injury is brought into sharper focus because of the timing - with Spurs' only other rated striker, Son, also likely to be missing for the coming five weeks.

... on a similar vein, it took me a long time to find out which united players were involved.
Which was a bit odd... or not.

And as yet I haven’t come across any video of the incident (perhaps I’m dumb).
Almost all pics are of him on ground holding ankle, none show the incident.

Can someone point me to a video clip or even a picture of the incident occurring? Ta

Thats untrue. This anti city stuff is worse than what you read in RAWK every media hating them. Losing KDB was huge news. Same missing Fernandinho

We have had injuries all over the place, but of course Kane will get a mention.

Rose was out half a season, Aurier has been injured, Vertonghen missed 6 weeks, Davison and Toby have had injuries, Lloris was out for a month. Moura is currently injured, along with Dier. Not to mention Wanyama and Dembele who have been injured all season. Losing Son again for an international break too. Oh throw in Sissoko for a month now too. I dunno how we have coped but now this is an even bigger test

Im sure Skipp will get a few games and maybe even Troy Parrot!

Spurs will do fine without Kane maybe more fluently faster
Don’t agree. His link up play is very underrated in that spurs team. He’s a great target and controls it well, bringing runners in to the attack. He’ll be a huge miss.
