Harry Kane

I think this Kane deal has too many hurdles to pass to get it done.
id love City to sign him, but why would spurs sell? He’s arguably the best player in their history, just entering his prime and tied in for years on a big contract. I don’t see levy selling for anything less than £150m and based on our history of signings we wouldn’t pay that.
I'm not sure, I think deep down Levy wants to sell but wants Kane to be seen to be forcing him into it.I expect Kane and Levy want a deal, neither wants to be seen forcing the issue by their fans. Still expect £120 mill plus add ons myself.

The only reason Spurs sell is if he forces the issue, but even then it won't be cut & dry. This is from an interview Modric did a couple years ago:

In 2011 Modric pushed hard for a transfer to Chelsea after the Blues repeatedly bid for him, but Spurs refused to sell to a league rival. Modric even went as far as to accuse Spurs chairman of breaking a “gentleman’s agreement” and the relationship between Luka and the club became increasingly caustic. Modric was eventually sold to Real Madrid in 2012 for £30m, a huge fee in those days.
So there are mentions of a gentleman's agreement between Kane and Levy, looks like that will never really matter. No matter what anyone says, Levy will only let Kane go if it's in the best interest of Spurs. And as you say, that would require a lot of money.

Completely different here mate. Modric was “not for sale at any price” and they have already put a price on Kane’s head. i.e he is for sale.

As it transpires they, if figures are to be believed, lost a chunk hanging on to him for another season .

Us mere football fans knew about Modric and the gent's agreement now if as is being written Kane has one from his last contract either Harry or his agent is a dick.

I think the 'not for sale at any price' was directly aimed at Chelsea, they wouldn't have sold Modric to them unless they had gone to an absolute ludicrous number. So even then, not for sale at any price wasn't really true IMHO. For a club like Spurs, every player is for sale but they all have a number on their head. Levy consistently says he will do what's best for the economical future of the club first, and he won't verge from that in favour or trying to win things, that's his model.
On the flipside, clubs like City & Chelsea don't work in that way (for the obvious reasons).

I think his brother is his agent. But the same goes for any player of a certain standing at Spurs, if you are re-signing and believe you have built yourself to a good standard, you should demand a release clause unless you are happy with possibly not winning anything.

Agreed a release clause not a handshake.

As for his brother agent well from him posting on here it's no wonder it's a fuck up ;)
