We do know the made up offer of £75m + add ons is insulting to Spurs and the made up asking price of £160m is far to much for City. Most bluemooners would love to sign Kane unless Haaland is a possibility then he is the preferred option. We missed out on Messi and Ings last week but have a chance of Ronaldo this week. I am looking forward to the Norwich game at the weekend and further in the future the closing of the transfer window. I’m saying I don’t know, so for me it’s possibly our only formal offer but there could have been five since. I can believe we bid 75 Spurs said 150 and we've been trying to get Spurs to the table since. Madder things have happened.

I thought SSN said City had bid £75m plus a player? That would likely be a British transfer record and he is 28.

I think this deal is alive but I am not confident because Levy's public stance is absurd. If he maintains that I can't see it getting done in which case Spurs will have a problem whilst we'll have a title winning squad and £130m to spend on a player when we see fit.

I do believe it's now or never for Kane. Are Spurs really going to demand £150m for a 28 year old player? If they are that's serious disrespect towards Kane. They're entitled to ask what they like for their player but there will be consequences for them in terms of their relationship with the player and their other players if the deal doesn't go through.
