Harry Kane

So are your debts or have they been paid off ?
Indeed. Our debt is far higher. But then, so are our net assets. Swings and roundabouts. The important thing is that the debt is all long term and low interest. It is easily serviceable.

But not really a subject for this thread. All that’s relevant is that Levy will sell if the price is right.

And who knows what that’ll be, I think it’ll get done though.

Everybody has a price. The question is “What is the price for a wantaway striker with one contract left in him, who thinks he had a gentleman’s agreement to be able to leave if Spurs weren’t top echelon?”

Methinks an incentive heavy deal makes the most sense to City, but with massive debts and the last manager having spent money and leaving, Nuno has demanded a transfer kitty…and Harry is it!

Kane has great record but he’s not good long term investment or achieve what aguero did with us. I worry about his injuries. We should be all out for Haaland.
He's not coming in as a long term investment with re sell value, he's coming in to the lead our line for 5 years, and score goals, and to polish off our squad. That's all he's coming in for. It comes at a price to get Kane in, so be it, as I said in the Grealish thread it isn't my money so I don't care what he costs, as long as Kane is one of us by the end of the window.

As for Haaland it's abundantly clear for one, Dortmund aren't selling him, so he's not available and two it doesn't seem that Haaland wants to leave Dortmund yet either, so his name being a preferred choice is just a opinion. Hell if I had a choice for a striker to replace Aguero I'd choose Ronaldo from 96-98 but I don't possess a time machine, the funds or whatever else to make that happen.

Kane is the best striker in the league, arguably top 3 on the planet. He makes us a better team. As for his ankle injuries, god knows how many posters have ended that myth, and he won't be playing every game for us so he will get rest under Pep.

Kane/Grealish into last season's squad with possibly Bernardo leaving makes us immeasurably stronger. We won the league, Carabao Cup, runner up in the CL and FA Cup semi final with Aguero injured for basically a entire season.

Kane in the number 9 role makes the quadruple attainable, which I feel is something Pep wants badly to say when he leaves us eventually that he dominated English football, and made us the most dominant force ever seen in England.

Sounds like a rag response. Long term debt is bad for football. FFP needs revised to include this type of fiddling the books. Pinto, pinto you about ? We need a honest voice.
