I am concerned that if this doesn't end up happening, we will put way too much trust in gabby and ferran next season. Last season we had aguero, and delap was an unused option, and it was abundantly clear that we need a striker. Seems so bizarre to start this season with 2 LESS strikers.

Yeah absolutely bizarre to me. As a player I’d love to watch Grealish and if we sign him I’d be well happy. However, Kane would take us to another level in terms of options in how we attack and goal threat. Genuinely think with reasonable luck with injuries he’d beat Salah’s record for most league goals in a season.

I don't think anyone really knows, but I would say its not far off the mark. Problem with City is you cant really use "post COVID" as an excuse when a club makes a demand for a player, you are completely unaffected for obvious reasons.

We will go to 130 according to recent reports and spurs want 150. To walk away when the valuation is that close and to leave Kane high and dry would be pretty shitty imo. Even read last night Kane is willing to take lower wages and a lower signing fee to free up more money for the fee.

Its because Kanes 28 and people have this notion that players wind down in their early 30's.... i agree that used to be the case but look at the like of Lewandowksi, Fernandinho, David Silva (finest city season he was 33)

Kane could replicate Lewandowksi and give us 6 seasons of 30+ goals

I did post a few days back that Levy will be keeping a close eye on the Grealish situation.

Aside from my name, I signed up here a while ago, I'm not as big a fan of Levy given the past few seasons, but one thing Il give him, he maybe shite at buying players, but he knows how to get what he wants.

For Kane to be prepared to throw his golden boy reputation away to get this move it would be a bit harsh for city then to not strike a deal with spurs even if it’s a few million higher than originally wanted.

I want players who will do anything to play for this club and It is clear Kane wants this move badly

Our debt is long term and not really comparable to clubs with more immediate issues, we don't need to sell Kane. By the way just for clarification I have no problem with him leaving, but if your willing to pay £100M for Jack, £100M wont cut it for Harry. Who ever is in charge of your negotiations has made a real mess of this.

Cheeky twat, as ever our negotiations are in secret, you are just reacting to media made up bollocks. Keep an unhappy captain, see his value reduce exponentially and then decide who’s made a mess. And yes your debt is long term, something like £40m a year for the next TWENTY THREE years isn’t it? A huge ducking millstone around your club. By the way when do you find out if you are playing Larne or the other team who’s name escapes me? That should help with the debt
