Do you understand the difference between long term debt and short term debt? Do you understand the ability to refinance long term debt? Are Spurs in a position of having to sell players to service debt or even other players wages? Nope, even after a season with no fans we still arent in that position. Its not the amount of debt a club has that is the danger its the period that debt covers and the amount that needs to be paid to service it.
£90m owed to the taxman
£110m in transfer fees
£200m short term debt
Will you be taking out another loan to pay these

We have debt yes, but its nearly all long term, is anyone with a mortgage now classified as "skint", laughable. There are many other clubs in a lot more difficulty than us.

That debt was taken out in view that Spurs could maximise the use of the stadium for revenue at the time. No fans being let in since March 2020 will have left a lot of clubs out of pockets including Spurs. Like you said if you take a mortgage out on house you ain’t skint but if you lose your job and can’t make payment the banks will send their boys round to repossess it.

Spurs would have loved that super league payment they would have got if it had gone through so no wonder they pushed for it. Now it hasn’t happened they have a saleable asset that could solve a lot of problems and also release funds for Nuno to bring new talent in.

ok, il make it simplier, is £100,000 of credit card debt the same as £100,000 of long term debt say like a mortgage.

Depends if you agreed your mortgage based on your currently salary only to find a global pandemic has seen your household income plummet to the point you need to sell your car in order to keep your house.

… and even though it’s a really nice car, it’s refusing to start.

Shame all of this didn't apply when you furloughed staff.

At the waterpark watching lots of very sexy near naked ladies walk past me every couple of minutes as I ogle from behind my sunglasses.
Life is pretty sweet and as an added bonus I get to be entertained by the usual assortment of nut jobs stressing over a signing that will happen anyway.
Just for clarity, could you define "near naked", a mate was asking :)

How much profit would spurs make this season? More than the debt payments of 46m

Explain how it gets done, you think city are paying close to 200 million for him?
Do you think Spurs in their financial position are going to pay £20m a year to a player who is skipping training and will purposely attempt to rock the boat?

Again, we don't care if you do. We'll play false nine for another year and then get him for £60m next summer after he's spent a year fucking you up. It genuinely doesn't matter to us.

As M Bison once said, to you the day that Manchester City came knocking on your door was the biggest day of your life. To us, it was a Tuesday.
