Harry Kane

Ideal time for him to move was probably two years ago. Spurs could have got the big money they will inevitably demand, and a few clubs would have considered it. I think his age and injury record make a move much more difficult now, unless Spurs are willing to accept a reasonable fee (highly unlikely).

I bet Levy would hate to sell him to another EPL team, and I am sure would accept a lower price, for Kane to go overseas. The price will be a premium to Spuds direct competition, and I just don't think the people who run out club will be dealt with that way again. We have seen of late, that we do walk away if the numbers get too high, or it becomes a bidding war.

I just don't believe Kane, with his age and injury record, fits our player preference. If it's not Haaland, I think it will be someone from left field at a reasonable price, especially as it appears false 9 is our preference at the moment.

He may have signed a new contract recently, but I fail to believe that he hasn't inserted a clause in there that says if a team bids 'x', then he can go.

And I reckon that 'x' figure is a lot lower than people think.

I personally like him and would be my preference.

And slowly bring through young Palmer and/or Delap over the next few years.

Quite honestly I don't think Levy would have allowed him to have such a clause, he's too wily a business man. Two years ago Spurs were, with Poch, heading towards an unlikely CL final, different times!

I think if Mbappe is sold to RM, Poch may well look to reunite with Kane there? Levy won't allow a cheap sale to a PL competitor.

Why would Levy have a problem selling him to anyone if they have the cash??
Levy wouldn't have a problem selling Kane - so far as he's able to extract the maximum from any such buyer - and failing to do so, he won't sell.

Any deal with Levy - is almost certainly to your disadvantage.

I can't wait for Levy to drag this out all summer, then buy Ings or loan Abraham on deadline day and tell the spuds fans how difficult its been. The guy is a complete waste of space.
