At this point it just feels as though spurs want to keep Kane out of spite. it makes no sense for them to turn down huge money for a player they have already had the best years out of when they badly need a squad refresh.

Not according to that latest "information" that suggests we won't sign Kane unless we sold laporte and Bernardo. If we won't pay what they want, how would selling Bernardo and laporte alter that in any way shape or form? That indicates we don't have the finances rather than we won't pay it.That's not the point.
