Harry Kane

That’s what I’m hoping! The club have always been confident of negotiating the fee and making it happen but it’s proving even more difficult than anticipated! Still hopeful though!
Surely city didnt expect this to be easy with spurs and levy. I’m hoping when Kane comes back from his well deserved break he will put even more pressure on spurs to sell.

At this point it just feels as though spurs want to keep Kane out of spite. it makes no sense for them to turn down huge money for a player they have already had the best years out of when they badly need a squad refresh.

Thank for the insight - I know you're solid. Finding buyers for both would need us to promote a CB from the U-23s. Are there any candidates? Harwood Bellis is probably too slow for the PL. Sandler, perhaps?
Sandler has potential but was quite clear in the MEN the other night that wherever he ends up he needs to be playing. That’s unlikely to be the case if he remains.

Signing Grealish for the rumoured fees and not having the finances to sign Kane would be a monumental cock up. Grealish doesn't make our starting 11 better, we don't even have a striker.

That's not the point. It's about us not wanting to pay a stupid fee not about not having the cash. Even if we hadn't of signed Grealish if Spurs were taking the piss with the fee we would have walked away. We're not gonna pay £150 million or whatever it is no matter how desperate we are for a striker.

Sandier is REALLY highly rated at the club! Thoughts are if he hadn’t had the injuries he’s had that he’d be a starter. Txiki is apparently a huge fan!

Yep can see that just think levy doesn’t sell all the yank clubs he turns up to when spurs play him he will get a standing ovation he get a hard on from it!

Just heard that the deal is losing momentum. City not willing to meet Spurs demands on fee so only way this’ll happen is if we sell Bernardo and Laporte.
So Kane agitates for a move, probably at our behest, Levy wants too much so we walk away?
I understand it but that's harsh on Kane

Not according to that latest "information" that suggests we won't sign Kane unless we sold laporte and Bernardo. If we won't pay what they want, how would selling Bernardo and laporte alter that in any way shape or form? That indicates we don't have the finances rather than we won't pay it.

Grealish for £100 million is not a stupid fee then? Lets be honest if United did this we would be laughing our asses off.

I don't see how anyone can justify Grealish is worth £100 million.

It's all silly money but obviously the club looked at his age, his potential and his marketability and decided it was worth the cost. Kane is 28 and not half as marketable. I'm sure they will still try and get the deal over the line but equally they will not let Spurs bend us over just cos we don't have a reliable striker.
