This screams ‘media mouthpiece’ to me. Like Levy has told Ornstein to say exactly that.

Also we are only starting to come out of a pandemic that has seen clubs lose millions. No matter how much Spurs want £100+million pre pandemic the new financial reality can’t/should not be ignored just because it does not suit their narrative. £ 90 million or 60-65 plus a player is where city should be at.Deffo looking to push the price up and put Levy in the driving seat, unfortunately for him and Levy their hand is not that strong, Kane's recent interview swung the power towards us and that's provoked this limp reaction.

personally I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that the negotiations with spurs will be successful. Levy is an unpredictable twat and he could just stay stubborn and say 150m or nowt. Kane's not the type to start an all out war against his beloved club (like messi, we've seen where that ended) and he has less leverage with 3 years left on his contract. Most he's gonna do in my opinion is throw these "hope we can have a good honest conversation with the chairman". he won't throw the toys out. that's why he'll likely end up staying there too, i reckon.
