Apparently '715' is one of those code numbers which have a meaning; in this case, 'farewell'.
It originates from the advent of the first vacuum cleaning services (15th July - or 7/15 - in 1922) foretelling the demise and eventual disappearance of chimney sweeps.

I'll file that away under 'Interesting sh*t I learned on Bluemoon'... ;-)
