Harry Kane

Tottenham outraged hehe. Kane has stuck with them for years. It’s about time they wake up and (A) invest or (B) get used to the fact that they are a selling club. Spurs have fucked him over so it’s nice to see them getting the same treatment from Kane. Holistic approach needed...

Remembering that the club policy on transfers is to have three viable options:

1. Harlaand
2. Kane
3. ?????

Factor in the Agüero situation, I think there was a pay as play offer and a statement that he wouldn’t be first choice striker going forward then this all looks interesting.

Personally I think the Kane statement is from his side, we haven’t progressed any further than sounding out be he may know that we are focused on Harlaand. He might be trying to game the situation knowing we admire him as a player and he is an option for us.

Let’s put it this way, it’s either a very well calculated move given no commitment from Harlaand or BvB OR it’s a monumental error of judgement IF we have an agreement in place for this summer with Harlaand.

Not a bloody clue who the third option would be, but it certainly is not Lukaku. A few were mentioned last summer that make more sense for us.

I THINK this could be a case of FOMO from Kane.

Imagine De Bruyne crosssing the ball for Harry Kane: Kev would hit for 30 assists next season, and 60% here doesn't want him lol.
I honestly think most people (me included) don’t want Kane at the price everyone expect Spurs to ask him. I think he is a fantastic striker. I just dont think he’s worth £120/140m at his age. In simple terms, if we get 4 years out of him that’s £30/35m per season plus salary. If we got Haaland for a similar price we could potentially get 10 years out of him at a cost of £12/14m per season.

If Haaland is not available and we could get Kane for £75m or, even better, a cash plus players trade, I would change my vote to a yes.
