Harry Kane

Most of "your itks" have said the same thing last week
But as I posted on here last week, all of our 'ITKs" are bullshitters and have proven themselves to be such every single transfer window, it's all bollocks. People on here laugh at Fabrizio Romano who has broken 2 of our transfers this summer before anybody even knew there was any interest/negotiation, but want to believe some random "ITK" on a football forum.

The issue is not about resisting 'censoring information'...that's overly dramatic.

It's a question of signal-to-noise. As you know, most social media - and twitter in particular - are swamped with attention-seeking, made-up, inflammatory and just plain BS posts. It's famous for it and it's what social media does. And if that's your thing, then that's cool and you can go on twitter etc and fill yer boots.

Hitherto, BM is not like that. It's a more specialised forum for fans of City, some of whom actually know each other from matches etc and accordingly the posts on here tend to be higher quality / have more knowledge behind them / are a little less BS-y than what you get on twitter (yes, even Worsleyweb's...). They have a better signal-to-noise ratio.

But when the site starts getting inundated with unfiltered repeats of twitter BS, and then responses to them, the ratio starts changing, and soon all we'll be left with is a site that's a poor copy of twitter, with the same BS and attention-seeking posts swamping the higher-quailty content from actual real City fans who have something interesting to say.

At the end of the day it's your (Ric's) site to do with as he pleases; you might not particularly care about the quality of the content as much as the volume of it. That's a legit pov to take. But to just throw yer hands up and say 'it's up to other posters to handle' is short-sighted. These decisions do actually have consequences for the kind of site you'll be modding in the future.

Of course Harry is going to be training to stay fit and be ready to play, what do people expect him to do? Be sitting by the phone? Lol, the media love stirring up a frenzy like they did with Grealish saying oh he won't leave his boyhood club he's training with the squad etc, I was more confident with this getting done than Jacks, our club are excellent in negotiations and I feel if this was a definatley no-go we would of walked away a long time ago, I feel after last season and the Messi shenanigans the foundation was already set for this, I don't know what the hold up is maybe Spuds are waiting on securing a certain player? But IMHO I think this is a done deal, Sky Sports and the media haven't a clue themselves what is going on, they are a joke and reading some of their headlines has me laughing out loud as for Kaaaveeehhhh he is the biggest fraud of all.

I find that highly unlikely, firstly, he's a professional, secondly, he's a Spurs fan, I think he'd happily accept it and buckle down, much like most would if we were playing for City.
Yeah I agree, it's unlikely. It just depends how much Kane wants the move. It's how Van Dijk got his move from Southampton to Liverpool, but he obviously didn't have any particular affinity towards them like Kane does with Spurs.

Which 2 transfers of ours has Romano broken this summer?

The one thing that keeps me hoping here is how many rumours there are about Spurs trying to buy players.

They've already spent nearly £50m on Romero and so wouldn't spend large amounts on a backup striker - if they buy a forward for £60m then it's to replace Kane, not to sit on the bench and watch him.
