If we get Kane id honestly never be worried about pens again.

He has missed only 2 penalties in the last 4 years. While scoring roughly 30 in that same time frame. Thats a 94% converstion rate almost as sure as you can get for the volume of pens.

The 2 misses during that time 1 came for England the other vs Liverpool in a 2-2 draw at Anfield. Where he scored another penalty to draw the game in the 95th min.

Basically if we get 10 pens a season we are scoring 9 to 10 of those a season every year.

Kane should go to the Rags then... on pens alone he’d win the Golden Boot every year.

Kane would be at best a short term stop gap. I'd say pay no more than £50m with a 2 year contract on a maximum of 80% KDBs salary.

I'm not really convinced Kane would fit into Pep's system. Does he do enough running and pressing from the front? I also don't think anyone will be spending the money required to sign him.

I can't see a swap deal happening as who'd want to go the other way? I'd rather be a squad player at City than a regular for mid-table spurs?

To be the main man, he is getting to the age where he wants regular game time, with us nothing more than a squad player and if we go and buy a world class striker, next season he may well get less minutes on the pitch.

I am a massive fan of Jesus and I always thought the plan was for him to replace Aguero. It doesn't look like that is going to happen and in fairness, he probably hasn't shown enough in front of goal to force Peps hand. I do wonder what he will think about City chasing another main man and him not moving up the pecking order.

To fund a move for Kane/Haaland might see someone leaving the club unexpectedly and I think the three main candidates are Jesus, Sterling and Laporte. Of the three, I would get rid of Sterling but I expect either of the other two are more likely.

Some have been spoiled with our best players staying with us over the years. It has skewed their view and given them the belief that a player spending 10+ years with a single club is the norm. It isn't. I don't believe for a second that Haaland spends the rest of his career with us if we sign him, and if we got 5 years out of him we would have done well. Of course, after 5 years of Haaland we can get a fee back on his sale, which we wont get with Kane. Its whether or not the club determine this is a deciding factor in who we drop £100m+ on.

With the kane option,the sell on with Haaland could be negated/matched by the emergence of Delap.He wouldnt cost us a penny if we are clever with loans,or minimal if its a buyback,and he will only be 22.
