Hi mattyb, sorry to sound a bit thick mate, but if we sent a team ,including people who deal with contracts, wouldnt we need permission to speak to the player? CheersYes mate, but I also spoke about parallel lines. Just because we’ve agreed terms doesn’t mean we have agreed the price / deal with Spurs.
Personally I think that all the activity indicates it’s moving forward and it will happen, but that’s just a calculated guess as opposed to anything I’ve been told.
Not really. Kane is better striker full stop and a much better playmaker. Easily worth a fair bit more than Lukaku. Not to mention Inter sold him outside to a foreign club. There is always a PL tax between english clubs.
Best post in the thread. This is the problem when using player comparisons to reach a valuation. There is always a transfer that works against the principle.
There was a Gobshite Spurs fan on here last week claiming that there should be an England captain tax and all other made up add ons to try and justify the £150+ million valuation.
I'd like to see Txiki play that game. Lets add a 'never won a trophy tax' and deduct 10% of the fee. We can add another 'never played for a top side' tax and reduce the fee by another 10%. I best not forget the 'I no longer want to play for Spurs because their shite tax' and deduct another 20%.
At this rate Spurs should be snapping our hands off for £100 million.
Agreed. And for all the "Grealish cost this much" then maybe Spurs should have put in a buyout clause of £160m for their own sake rather than promising a player who trusted them that they could leave if a good deal came in, which by any stretch of the imagination £125m is.This is the problem when using player comparisons to reach a valuation. There is always a transfer that works against the principle.

Tolmie has the inside track on this one it seems bud
He’s not worth £150mil nobody but us are interested in him.So in 3 weeks his value has gone down. whats he worth to you now then?

sorry for asking again, but what u said is basically city have prepared a contract for Kane?
Typical spurs arrogance, debt is inconsequential lol. Ask any number of failed businesses about that, it’s debt not the profit and loss account that strangles businesses. I hope you drown in your arrogant swamp of debt. Horrible club, always has beenDebt is inconsequential. Very manageable long term. Like moaning about the mortgage when you buy your house.
No doubt Spurs would sell him for slightly cheaper abroad, but the Spanish clubs are skint.
