He had an offer on the table, knew what was available to him at City and signed for PSG. I find it hard to understand why people are confused when top level players snub us, we are not the be all and end all like some think… Not yet anyway. Haaland the perfect example, he’ll not join City and will drag us through it with promises then sign for Real with Mbeppe.

Last year. All the evidence we have suggests our offer wasn't on the table this summer.
