Until a few seasons ago he had never scored in August, considering he hasn't played from the start of the season and not had a normal pre-season plus a full Euro tournament it's not surprising he hasn't scored and hit the ground running (in stellar competition, no one cares about Europa conference qualifiers).

I wonder what they thought was going to happen to Kane's form? If you had an agreement with your boss that you could leave if a bigger company wanted you, and then he backtracked and refused to let you go, would you work your balls off for him? the price also falls and city will not be back in for him unless its around £50million
would kane have made much of a differences to city start of the season ? i don't think kane would have had much a difference other than given the clubs and fans a big lift.. but levy stopping him leaving spurs is a killer for them and the new manager..
