This is part of the problem. Kane is undoubtedly a better option than the Jesus of last season or Iheanacho, and were he a replacement for either then I'd be necking pints of the happy clapping kool-aid. Sadly he is touted as a replacement for Kun, and I'm sorry, but despite the admittedly impressive stats I just don't see it. There is that bit of magic - Kun had it, Tevez and even Mario had it but Kane does not. At 93:20 Kane would have been elbowing someone on the halfway line or having an argument with Barton.

You can never replace a player like sergio just like you carnt replace a yaya or a d.silva or a kompany or a zabaleta etc . You adapt you move on you find new ways to play you evolve you rebuild and make new memories with new players which kane will do if he signs
