Harry Kane

If we haven't rejected a bid, why would he not turn up for training?

I have no idea. But the story is him not turning up for training, not that City have tabled a bid. You don't think £100 mill is a reasonable fee, but there's no evidence that was even offered, or even if any offer has been submitted at all yet.

Because he simply doesn't want to play for Tottenham anymore. He knows Tottenham aren't going to challenge for major trophies and wants to join a club that does.
There is no confirmation that the amount was actually £100m bid or any bid at all.
So the England captain is just striking cause he wants to leave, with no confirmed interest in him? Seriously, if we are all going to be adults here its pretty clear City have been in his ear for a while.

SO City arent interested at all, nothing confirmed you guys just have a thread in the transfer forum 1394 pages long? And no £100m isn't a fair price for him.

What's that got to do with anything as of right now Kane is not for sale?
Are you desperate to keep him or do you think it’s the right time to get big money and try and rebuild before his value dips further? I think he’s world class and would break records in this City side. So only asking because it’s pretty clear you’re not going to challenge at present with him and as it stands even the top 4 looks boxed off next season.

Obviously we are interested in Kane, You do know there is other ways of us showing our interest other than just lobbing in bids don't you?
Yes we obviously have been in his ear for a while which answers your own question of confirmed interest.

I'm not desperate to keep him, I just don't think he should be let go on the cheap. You have said it urself "he will break records for you" he's worth more than is being suggested. Where we end up has no bearing on what Kane is worth.

Where did I say we weren't interested? Being interested is different to submitting a bid. And you're the one banging on about £100m, seemingly based on nothing.

Ok City ring up Levy, Danny would £100m interest you, Levy hangs up. Not technically a bid but as good as.

Cheeky twat, as ever our negotiations are in secret, you are just reacting to media made up bollocks. Keep an unhappy captain, see his value reduce exponentially and then decide who’s made a mess. And yes your debt is long term, something like £40m a year for the next TWENTY THREE years isn’t it? A huge ducking millstone around your club. By the way when do you find out if you are playing Larne or the other team who’s name escapes me? That should help with the debt

46m a year but with sponsors tv money and Levy ripping of the spurs fans with 60k Capacity stadium paying it back will be no problem! Football in this country and around the world is enormous so can’t see the tv money ever dropping of!

They don't stick around long at your place, eh?

As for Kane being 'meh as a person', we have no intention of getting to know him. His job is to score goals, and that's all.
They can't wait to get away from that place, they are a strange bunch in North London.

Always remember 81 at Wembley, Ricky Villa was booed off the pitch by his own fans, what a %%%ing difference on the Wednesday, two faced bastards.

He has 3 years left, England Captain and has a very high reputation, Kane is the one who has to be careful, he could easily destroy that hard earned reputation.
The press will do that when he comes to us anyway.
We've already been accused of causing this by snide sports.

How dare a club want a player from another club, it's unheard of.

No way, city don't do that. Even if it's true you'd be hard pushed to find city fans that actually agree with that. Tapping up is what the media clubs do, lfc, bayern, Utd.

I really think, (and it does look like) , kane just wants to win things after years of stagnation that seriously looks like it will continue.

It's v nice though that kane and grealish have chosen city as the vehicle for success and not one of the traditional clubs. Its a major change for football in this country, but we're not doing what utd did with Rooney or lfc with van dijk.

Or alternatively, he and Spurs are aware of the interest, but Spurs are not holding their end of the 'gentleman's agreement', forcing Kane's hand.
Trust goes BOTH ways
