David Cross was from Rochdale! Albeit best known for his time at West HamI’m trying to think of cockney strikers that have led our line in recent times,I’m struggling and have gone back as far as to Clive Allen and David Cross !
I’m just daydreaming here ignore me

I've been struggling a little bit with the transfer request thing. Surely going on strike is a step further than a piece of paper with "I wanna leave" on it?Going of some considered posts on here it seems reasonable to think he may have to put a transfer request in. I wonder if he will go that far? If he did would that force Levy to accept an amount closer to 100m?
How long would we even wait? Having any transfer happen at the last minute loses us a few games of him being up to speed/finding his feet. If you are paying big boy money you want them worked into the way we play ready for the first game ideally.
If he was 26 i could see us paying the 150m i dont see us meeting that now. Whatever happens it will be interesting to watch this unfold.
I think keeping a player that's unhappy with people there is a bad idea. I think best for everyone is to sell while he's valuable. I do think I will be over £100m but I think £130m will be enough to agree upon imo.Don’t think it is that necessary, they have a 150m / 160m price that they can decide to not budge from
Its all the same north of Kendall’s on Deansgate to meFrom Heywood Crossy, know him well
Agree with all that apart from the error of calling them top 6, they are comfortable mid table and Nuno should be able to stabilise that position.Yeah but then compare and contrast our attitude with Bernardo to Garcia. City fans aren't always perfect.
Unlike with Grealish and Villa (which was just unsolicited bitterness), I can see why Tottenham fans are getting upset at Kane. He's gone out his way to fuck them over, when they probably need him more than ever. Quite frankly I think Levy's done something to set him off but obviously Tottenham fans wouldn't see that.
To be clear I'm not sympathising with them. The constant anti-City rhetoric is easy to make me not care for them. But I definitely get their perspective. On Kane that is.
Their attitude towards City is nonsensical, as with every other top 6 fanbase towards us.
I have no idea what is the more nuclear of the two actions are either tbh. I suppose the amount Levy would save in loyalty payments and such would be important. If he saves a lot he might be thinking "thats a big chunk of this years stadium payments sorted" thus making him more reasonable to deal with.I've been struggling a little bit with the transfer request thing. I'm not privy to the inner workings but feel like a transfer request now doesn't make a lot of difference and is still met with the same Levy response.
Even if he was a striker as opposed to just a forward, we can’t have just one striker in the whole squad. He‘s not coming and I am very happy about that. Give Jesus the chance to consistently play as a 9.

They've not really covered themselves in glory on Bluemoon have they? It's such a weird flex to be such a nothing club, run by such a nothing man, and to come on a forum of the champions and give it the big one about how they're gonna make loadsa money from selling Kane or they'll keep him whether he likes it or not.
Like literally, neither of those things is good. You're club is fucked and Kane's dragging it through the mud, but you want to act like you're in control. It's a funny delusion I guess.
