That's how it starts, Liverpool were irate after Sterling's interview too.
People talk about resale value but then seem happy to pay £60m for Lewandowski who is 5 years Kane’s senior, and I think Kane is right up there with him. The more I think about this transfer the more I think it makes sense.
His dad’s career was finished by a rag in a derby, if he goes there he wants his head examining.Agreed. Apart from Kane being 28... ;-)
Kane would do a great job for City and it would pretty much ensure the next 2 league titles IMO. It’s just not quite the future planning I was hoping for....
If Haaland stays outside of England with his next move then it’s all good. I just feel it’s fallen nicely for the rags to go balls deep for him next summer and they’ll probably get him.
I’m not following your rational with Haaland?Haaland will not go on to be world class IMHO and kane already is
The point was that in 5 years time Kane would surely also be worth In the region of £60m if Lewandowski is today - not sure how anybody can say Kane will be worth nothing in 4 years at 31 years of age but then also see good value in Lewandowski at £60m at 32 years of age (unless you think the latter is significantly more talented, but I do not).I’m not sure what you mean here. We could pay a higher fee for Kane and also not get anything with resale, no? If we think they would deliver similarly, why is Lewandowski a worse idea?
This.Is resale value really important to us? We're loaded.
I’d prefer Haaland, too, but also think Kane is, at present, a more complete player. Lots of assists as well as goals.Personally, I’d prefer Haaland as he is younger and perhaps has greater potential. Seems increasingly unlikely that he’ll be available this summer though, in which case Kane would a great alternative. Seems like he’s pretty keen on the move too, which always helps.

He’d undoubtedly improve us. Considerably.I’d prefer Haaland, too, but also think Kane is, at present, a more complete player. Lots of assists as well as goals.
Took this from the spurs forum's Harry Kane thread and laughed for like 10 mins.
200 million ffs and those spurs guys ofcourse think that's reasonable.
Probably buys Mbappe and Haaland together next year :D
Kane just is so uncool i dont want him in the team.
Haaland is just already a complete charisma machine and a city fan, already scores at a faster rate, is younger, cheaper and way more exciting.
this, as much as i would prefer haaland, kane is a very decent alternative and far far more likelyFor the good of your health mate let it go haha. We don’t have any interest in Haaland and vice versa. You’re going to be very disappointed in a few weeks time when Kane is announced.
Always thought Harry Kayne was destined for City, he is a goal machine. Maybe we think Liam is as good as Haaland if not better and will cost nothing, let’s hope so.Personally, I’d prefer Haaland as he is younger and perhaps has greater potential.
