What it is, is you won't get to brag to your mates that we got Haaland, who everyone wants. But everyone wants Kane, too. He gets into any side pretty much in world football. There is plenty to brag about when Kane is photo'd holding the shirt and banging in 30 goals next season.

Personally think this is crazy. The problem is that the pool of players available to replace prime Kun is small.

At 28 Kane is one of them. The gamble is how many prime years do we get.

Im in no doubt the figure of £160m will include wages, and the media are just plucking figures out of the air. Maybe they are thinking £100m plus a 4 Yr deal on £300k

I just think the whole "big games" thing is silly when he plays for a club who are always the smaller team in those big games. Similarly, others have said that Haaland's goals have come against poor opposition.

Gutted if the news is true about Kane… If Haaland goes to Chelsea I think we’ve fucked up big time

If the price being reported is anywhere close to the truth then we’ve been well and truly bent over by Levy.. I thought we were smarter than that

For me Kane is a bottler who goes missing in the big games… Not sure why Pep can’t see that or is his ego so big that he thinks he can fix it?

I hope the price isn’t as extravagant as the one quoted, it will be a British transfer record regardless. I’m hoping the actual figure will be no more than 120-125 - will actually seem ‘reasonable’ after the figure of 160.

For all the talk of Kane ‘going missing in big games’ and ‘a bottler’ I can’t agree.

Spurs have been so far off the top 2-3 teams standard for years. Kane is metaphorically pishing into a hurricane trying to influence in some of the biggest games. Spurs played like a Conference team in the Carabao cup final, he feeds off tiny scraps in those big games.

Parachute him into the best team in the land and all the world and I genuinely think his goal return for us could be eye-watering for the rest of the league to take.

I’d be concerned if the fee was so high purely because of the reaction to it by the media and other clubs - a new, bigger stick to beat us with.

I’d be less concerned with Kane (coached by Pep to stay in the most productive part of the pitch more) being on the end of passes, crosses, & through balls from KDB, Doden, Mahrez, Gundog, etc.
