My last line said it all

I am sure the businessmen running the club and our financial advisors/acountants have run the numbers including covid loses and decided we can afford to do it and it isn't a risk

Whether you, me or anyone else agrees with it, well that is up to yourself, mysel and anyone else, but you me and anyone else haven't got all the financial information to say if it is a risk or not, all we can do is take it on faith the right decision is being made.

The problem at spurs is that that don't have the depth and teams concentrate on stopping him and Son, if they can.

If he came to us he would be a different proposition because if teams do try and focus on him, we have so many more weapons and game winners.
He can concentrate on being a striker with us, as we have the players who can create for him, so he won't need to do that extra work like he does for spurs and England.

We seem to have been rather successful with Zinchenko and Cancelo playing left back.

We also can’t keep Aguero until the moment we actually sign a striker.
 
The thing that stands out for me the most about the prices being quoted for Kane and Grealish (whether you agree with them or not) is the fact that City are anywhere near these kind of deals… it’s not something that we’ve ever done before and I see it as a sign that something has shifted financially.

And hopefully a sign that City are now starting to feel confident of flexing their financial muscles… happy days!

We should be pissing on everyone. 30 years of head-slapping shit we've had to put up with. Why should we care what anyone thinks? Add to that the shit we've had to put up with since being taken over. Fuck the lot of em I say. Bulldoze an orphanage and build a new stadium for all I care. BUY EVERYONE!

I have no doubt he will score even more for us than he does for spurs ( however remember when Tories went from the dippers to Chelsea).
But its in the one off tight games where I have my doubts...those games where you need a bit of magic

Na it’s just been reported throughout the job search the managers were assured he wouldn’t be sold. Hence why Nuno was so confident in his presser when asked about Kane.
I’ve never said kane doesn’t want to join city, unfortunately for him he signed a 6 year contract in 2018 and levy is not selling him with 3 years left on his contract. Wonder at what point in the summer you all stop deluding yourselves about this happening

We may not need him to, and we certainly won't be relying on him to, because we have other top players all over the pitch. To me a top drawer goalscorer was the final piece for this squad and he is that.

I think one of the reasons the false 9 worked so well last season was because of the quality and depth of our squad and because you didn't know who was going to step up game after game. What other team could go without KDB, the best midfielder in the world, and seemingly not miss a beat!

So add to all that quality, Kane's goals (and Grealish) and you have to wonder who can stop us!
