Harry Kane

Can you imagine the works canteen at the Guardian? Conn, Ronay and this Davies melt sat around pissing and moaning about City over their quinoa salads. Glendenning and Nakrani occasionally chipping in when they’re not playing with themselves under the table and sending noncey messages and dick pics to random young girls
In my mind it’s random young boys, while preaching we’re fighting the good fight to themselves.

The "city are prepared to go as high as x" comments might be my favourite pieces of bullshit going.

Unless these "journalists" are drinking buddies with Txiki and Txiki happens to have a drink problem and a loose tongue and wants to be sacked, how the fuck would they be privy to what City are prepared to max out on when negotiating?

There's an extremely limited number of people that would have that information, all of them are in extremely high powered positions and they're in those positions because they're not thick as pig shit yet we're supposed to believe they would let slip what they're willing to pay as a maximum to anybody that will listen? It's beyond moronic to claim to know that information nevermind believe them.

This is staggering.

And then the journalist followed it up with this so we have the motivation too.

I suggest if you are reading this Mr Davies you issue an apology. I am very angry about this. How can a national newspaper journalist justify remarks like these on the basis of City owner's nationality?

These are the same people who preach taking the knee. Racism is the preserve of those in power. Journalism is almost dead.

Umm so far we have a net spend of positive £4M, with Romero its a net spend of £44M, I get you want Kane, I don't mind you getting Kane but lets not start making shit up.
400m in debt and a squad rebuild needed. Like I say, even if it's not city you need someone to take your soon to rapidly depreciate asset off your hands. Anyone offers north of 80m levy should bite their hand off.

What has that got to do with the fact the post I was replaying to is factually wrong? We wont go under, ENIC has bult the club on only £40M direct investment from them. A lot depends on how covid pans out, but if it continues with a reduced revenue there will be many clubs around Europe hitting the shit before us. By all means ENIC is an investment company but I doubt if push came to shove they would cut the strings on a club they have dedicated 20 years of their lifes into, makes zero business sense.

If it's such a fight to take Kane from Tottenham, it probably isn't worth it.

Wait a season and bring in Haaland with far less hassle and a lower release clause.
