Harry Kane

Lukaku was playing for one of the favourites to win the league, Kane was in a Jose team in decline.
That's some claim. Jose may be a dinosaur but he actually helped Kane. The lazy players will be lazy for any manager, some of your players were scared at the idea of Conte because he is quite harsh with his requirements.

What has that got to do with ANYTHING I have said? Also, we were never going to get Conte. Some claim, so we were in a Jose team on the up?

If Lukaku does go for £120m to Chelsea, I would be surprised if we don't get Kane for around similar. Same age, same reputation, has even longer on his contract. Both clubs selling need money, one's just in denial.

But that doesn't include the "English player" and "City" tax... ;)

He isn't due back now till Friday, he sent to Florida to See Tom Brady and pretend to play American football.
Quite a clever move by Kane staying in Florida. He knows Spurs would not want him playing against them so by not returning before tomorrow he rules himself out of the first game of the season for any team. Makes it easier for Spurs to do a deal before the 16th August.

Again no problem with him going, but pay the rate for a player of his calibre.

We could agree not to play him bit I don't think Levy trusts gentlemen's agreements.

If Levy is delaying the transfer because he does not want Kane to play in the opening game of the season Kane may wish to remove this obstacle/excuse by making it impossible. It is clear that Kane is convinced that he had the famous "gentleman's agreement" and that he is either entitled to his move or is going to get it and he may simply be trying to remove all obstacles. Whether such tactics will work or simply harden Levy's resolve is something no-ne can say for certain but Harry Kane obviously knows him better than anyone outside Spurs.

They were nearly in tears on Sky with the realisation Kane was on his way to City along with Grealish, but with Lukaku looking set for Chelsea, their tune has turned to excitement today at the thoughts of this leaving the door open to Haaland going to United along with Sancho.
