Well yes, so as I said Txiki can’t decide to just pay £160 mill for Kane it isn’t his job, or I guess he’d just do it as balancing the books isn’t his job. He’ll be told his budget.But only because it would have prevented other deals leaving us with just one player bought. Too much.

A week before the league season starts and we haven’t got a striker in which we knew we needed heading into the tail end of last season,we have left ourselves open to being held to ransom now for a striker unless god forbid we don’t bring one in ..

It suits Levey to keep haggling....................he knows he won't get his fantasy figure but he MIGHT budge us up. However if he can pad it out to say Thursday with Kane not training he can get £100m and sell us a non-match fit Harry Kane on Thursday so he has his cash and guarantee's Kane won't play in the opening game.....fancy that

All our eggs are in the Kane basket. So it’s simple…if we end up with Kane it’s been worth the wait if we don’t it’s been a waste.

We have one of any kind, I want Kane as much as anyone, but Jesus is no donkey and better than he’s given credit for in here.After watching that we 100% need a striker of any kind

Reduced base seems to suggest we aren't selling as many as first thought.
If Kane plays well enough and we win enough to trigger bonuses then it's win-win.

I'd add presumptuous and incredibly arrogant. Even at full strength with a striker it was always going to be tricky.
