what i dont understand is the arrogance of the spurs fans. demanding 100m AND Laporte, telling us to "pay up or fuck off". where does it all come from? when did they last win a thing? audi cup? they cant even reach a europa league spot. pathetic club

Well i will never forget Sane being played in the Community shield game days before his Bayern deal was about to go through and that injury he got there probably cost us 20m at least and we kept him 1 more year so 1 full year of salary too.

I think Levy is much more clever than that.
 
We talk about Kanes finishing being amazing, but his passing and vision is right up there with the best in the league can see why pep wants him badly, some of the passes for assists he got at Tottenham were incredible cut the opposition’s defence straight through. He will give us another dimension to our attack. With Grealish and Raz running onto them that’s a scary prospect.

Genuine question, although it will never happen ever, what happens if a player scores a deliberate own goal? Do they get done in for match fixing?

Whilst that's a strong part of his game for Spurs, I don't think its a part that suits what we're after or lack.

Do we really want our striker in midfield when we've got gundogan, kdb, foden, Grealish, Bernardo all in there that want the ball at their feet and can all do that better than him? He doesn't have the mobility to do that and then get himself into a scoring position. In the entire squad we really only have one person who can make those off the ball runs in sterling and a major part of why he's been shit for 18 months is because he's stopped doing that and fancies himself as a ball player too now. The side lacks players who do some of their best work off the ball, we need players that will move away from the ball to receive it rather than come towards it. We've plenty of creators, we need people on the end of it.

we have the mobility around him to do it, so if he mixes it up we have an out-and-out striker and a false 9 in 1 player, which is perfect if he nails down when to use it for us. Like with Spurs, it's him flipping in Son that is so lethal, then if Grealish, Raz, Mahrez, Gundogan, Foden are all on the shift it changes the picture. Other times he hogs the edge of the area and makes runs for us so he's on the end of it, leaving a space in the hole for Grealish, Foden, Gundogan to roam into whilst the centre-backs are pinned back. So many options.

The counter to point to that is, that when 'being on the end of it isn't working' (low block etc.) we need a striker adaptable enough and good enough on the ball to drop back, pull defenders out of position and find runners off him add to this his ability to bang in goals from outside the area and he's a perfect fit.
