Harry Kane

Think we could do yes, we’ll have a better chance with Kane, but I also wouldn’t be writing us off with Jesus and false 9.
Of course we would have a chance, but there's a big difference between thinking we can win it and believing we will win it.

Liverpool have Salah, United have Fernandes, Chelsea have Lukaku. They'll all score 30 goals this season. That's what we need Kane for.

Pep pulled off a miracle last season, it's unwise to expect him to do it again. Which is why, in the end, we will pay the money and Kane will be a City player.

In a nutshell. Good post

Brilliant post

But your solution was to pull out from Kane before the window closes and start a new pursuit of Haaland, which would have a success probability of zero. Not the best tactic don't you think?
My solution is to set a deadline to apply pressure on Spurs, if they don't play ball, then put in huge bid for Haaland publicly. We still know what's happening with Kane but we must get a top striker. I don't trust Spurs or Levy and they could easily be stringing us along meaning we miss out on a striker. In business it is important to keep your options open

How many transfer negotiations have you been involved in. I’m sure the transfer team will be super interested in your input

i just dont understand why Kane would make himself available if his mind is set on joining city... risks an injury too.

So, your solution to keeping your options open is to close your options down?

My solution is put a figure in for Kane and go hard for Haaland publicly.
I just want this done, the season has started and we've not got our Striker sorted yet and our direct rivals are much stronger this season
