Accept it?? They have to accept it. That is the rule . That's what release clause means .The only thing they could do was convince grealish to stay.

I am past caring to be honest, this tiresome stick with a relatively expensive carrot seems like a distraction, we should be looking at MBappe or Haaland, and if that means waiting until next summer, so be it. I know, but I would rather wait for another year or two than pay over the odds for a player who will never have any sell-on value, if Kane was 25 I would go full tilt for him, but he is at his peak and any money spent will only be paid off when he retires. Haaland or MBappe could play for 5-8 years and only then will they be Kane’s age.
