Harry Kane

as much as i have doubts over kane i have heard so much and read so much abt pep gushing over kane and still wanting him as his front man that if city take the decision to go back for him i will trust in pep. pep has an insane amount of pressure of delivering the UCL to city and i wouldn't want this season's chance to go to waste again because we didn't have a striker in a big game and the shooting boots of other players were missing.

Too old. You don't spend £100m on a player who is at the end of his career. City need to find a younger Kane.

I wish him well though. Likeable player. Salah and Kane are out and out divers but somehow Kane just makes me laugh when he crashes to the ground. Perhaps its because Spurs are no threat but at last they have a proper coach now. I can see Kane winning something this season and I wouldn't begrudge him any trophies. Any club that is the enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Not sure why the English on here hate him so much? Being Irish, I don't find him offensive at all. He comes across like a good bloke to me. Compare him to some of the cunts England have had in the past like Terry, Ferdinand etc. I'd have Kane every day personality wise.

If he stays at Spurs, he will break Jimmy Greaves record as Tottenhams greatest ever goal scorer.

Mind you, Kane might also go down as the greatest player to have never won a trophy (not even a league cup).

There is no point in him going to United because trophies their are no less assured than if he were to stay at Spurs. I mean, he was one game away from the CL. The truth is, Liverpool dont want him, and us and Chelsea would prefer Haaland. Levy gets off on being difficult to deal so the chances of him leaving are narrow. He should just spend the rest of his career with Spurs. Break Greaves record and become a Spurs legend & go hard for Shearers PL record. He has 90 league goals to get to Shearers 260. He will do it, even if at 33 or 34 he needs to play for a team lower down the league for longevity sake.

If Im Harry Kane im looking to become the PL top ever scorer.

Big spending peppers? Haha! Fuckinell..

Lukaku to Spurs to link up with Conte again? Kane to City?

Stranger things have happened.

Still the second best option for me. As you say, Pep likes him and would fit straight into the team. And as the above poster points out, nowhere near as offensive as made out.

If we were to go for Kane (shudders ) then he is going to have to be a lot lot cheaper than he was in the summer. He has done nothing in this first part of the season to warrant his over inflated price tag . But of course if Levy was to sanction a bid for Lumpkaku ( he won't) Chelsea would want their price and of course Levy would want his price for Kane, we would be the mugs in this deal .

Completely agree on the price. Has to take into account age, injuries and his worst season for a while.

They’ll be serious title contenders next season - Conte is a default winner and doesn’t need top class players in every position to succeed, so they’re probably only 4 decent signings away from competing.

Kane would have been perfect for us; as you point out he’s far more adept at bringing others into play and operating as a false 9 than Haaland. But he’s at the club he made his name at, who’ve now got one of the best coaches in the world, the best stadium/training ground in Europe and overall probably the best equipped club to really challenge us over the next couple of years - especially if Conte can secure the Champions League revenue going into this summer.
Can’t you make it a quick un.

4 decent signings from challenging? You could say that about most teams in the top 8 of the table, but 4 top class signings will cost a minimum of 200m plus wages, and if you think Daniel Levy is going into his sky rocket for 200m think again.

I still can't believe the rags did not get Conte, he would have been short term but he would have kicked that dressing room into shape and taken no sh1t from the boardroom, I will be eternally grateful for Spurs jumping the gun and signing him on.
I suspect “taking no shit from the boardroom“ was the reason the raggies weren’t interested.

One thing Kane can do for not being allowed to move is run down his contract and leave for nowt now that will piss off Levy a lot.

Doubt it. They paid nothing for him and by the time he leaves his best years will be behind him. That’s probably what Levy wants
