Harry Kane

I still wouldn't.
If we'd signed him we probably wouldn't be top of the league if we'd have had to rely on him at the beginning of the season when he couldn't hit a barn door.
He is a great goalscorer, but he does have games where he goes missing and he definitely isn't a big game player.
If not Haaland then not him.

We wouldn't have needed to rely on him and not taking chances has always been there without a true no.9.

I think missing out on his move probably had an impact on his form. His numbers this season are yet again impressive still.

Not sure on the big game player comment. He has a World Cup golden boot and he was the best player on the pitch at our place... that was a pretty big game.

The rags will make him priority number 1 if pochettino decides to leave PSG,although any decent manager would give the job a wide berth, only reason would be vast in fact an obscene amount of money to take the job ..

What a load of bollox

Ahh the old injury prone cliche is out again I see . He averages 40 games a season which is more than kdb, aguero etc. The guy is pure class and anyone who says otherwise is either blinded by their hatred of him or just plain stupid.

He clearly had a bad start to the season as he was disappointed he didn’t get his move but he is now looking as sharp as ever as conte has him motivated once again.

Haalands injury record is a lot more concerning than Kanes. If spurs get top 4 he will stay if they miss out I hope we go back in for him

I can't see Kane going to the scum, it'd be swapping Spurs for the modern day version of Spurs basically. It's not a step up for him, it's a step sideways.

He can't be signed except maybe on a free in 2024 when he'll be 31, until then levy will either refuse or demand twice his worth so its pointless to wonder really.

Showing his class under a competent manager like Conte.

I think you can admit that he's a good finisher - one of the best in the league, if not the best - rather than a snide dig about this season's strike rate.

I'll stick to the snide digs, thanks.

Obviously, he is a great finisher.

For all 10 of his goals.

The double-digits comment was obviously a retort of me saying he's a great finisher/striker yet you admit that above so I'm not quite sure what your point was. Maybe that's a side effect of a snide dig, that they sometimes don't make much sense.

At least it's not the usual injury prone/age argument.

Yeah pretty much, just being a wido pal

When has light mockery of a player that plays for a 'rival' club i don't care much for become such a no-no.

It’s 9th March 2022. He’s firing again. Still don’t want him.

Phenomenal player. Truly, world class. Would slot in here and do what he does, probably at another level again.

Still, I just can’t warm to him or the idea of him. Can’t put my finger on it exactly. He’ll never be a Blue, he’s a Spurs legend. He won’t create a long term legacy, he’s too old. It’s an emotional thing. Pragmatically speaking yes, great signing.

Full respect to him and his quality, but just not for me.

That’s it, he’s a spurs legend. Haaland has no ties to any club at the minute, he’s the one to take over from Sergio.
