Well financially yes but turning down Bayern to stay at Spurs right now is surely showing a lack of career ambition. He’s not getting any younger and all it takes is one bad injury and he won’t get another chance like this.
 
He won’t stay for nowt. I wonder if he now renegotiates his current deal and extends his final year in exchange for a fixed buy-out - say £60m.
 
Levy won’t want to let him go on a free next summer. Man Utd will get him before the window closes and Levy will snap their arm off.

What's in it for Spurs?

I still think it will get done and this is just a bit of a media circus first. There hasn't really been ine this summer.

But reports in germany now also saying he is 'hesitating' and it is '50-50' whan an hour ago they were confidently claiming he had a solid agreement with Bayern weeks ago.

Does Kane have a proper agent or is it still his brother. His career has been mismanaged badly. He could have played anywhere but he was stitched up by Levy with a too-long contract. He is great player but could have been much better if he had played for better coaches at a higher level. His international career has also been strange. He has scored buckets of goals against pub teams but rarely (if ever) delivered on the highest stage at the latter stages of the World Cup or Euros. Perhaps he just lacks ambition.
 
Haha, what a ****. Led Bayern along all Summer, told them to get it agreed with Spurs before the season starts then seemingly gets cold feet when they hold up their end of the bargain.

So now he either signs a new deal or he's not going to Bayern because he can have his pick in the Premier League next Summer when his deal expires. The latter would be funny RE Levy to be fair.

Fancy having the captain of England with no ambition for titles.

Levy was all bravado about keeping him, Bayern all skite the'd land him. All the huffing and puffing, Bayern made their final offer, Levy refused to back down. Bayern then swallowed some pride, went back over their final offer, Levy then backed down. A fee was agreed leaving both looking a little bit like twats, but with enough gain to keep both happy.

Then Kane just shat all over it all. Man he really is the wúrst.

Don’t think he is going anywhere (or had any intention to)….all a ploy to get a new 4 year deal out of levy imo.

Bluff now been called Harold…

We should buy him, I know we won't, but we should. Paqueta will cost nearly the same by the time a deal is struck.
