I have just started reading The Buriel Hour by Jeffery Deaver. In this book the perp is kidnapping people byinjecting them with poison and then taking them to a secret hideout where he attempts to kill them. Some of the story is set in Italy and one of the police suggests it could be an Albanian gang.
Made me wonder what slab head was reading on his holiday.

When you say "attempts" to kill them, why can't he kill them if he has already poisoned and kidnapped them. ?
